FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE
Ephesians 4:11-14 states,
“And HE gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.”
MISSION STATEMENT
As God’s Servant my responsibility according to scripture is three-fold:
- Feed the people of God with knowledge and understanding
- 3:15, “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
- Jn 21:16, “He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
- Care for the people of God by being their spiritual overseer
- Acts 20:28, “Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
- Lead the people of God
- 1 Pet 5:2, “Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion, but willingly; not for dishonest gain but eagerly.”
VISION STATEMENT
- To empower Christian leaders to be effective in their individual calling as leaders in the body of Christ.
- To equip Ministers for the service of speaking the truth of God’s Word.
- To give laity clarity of God’s Word.
- To equip believers to serve within the body of Christ.
- To reveal the truth of God’s word so that believers of all ages will be exposed to the biblical principles of financial management.
CORE VALUES
Romans 10:14 – 15
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
