Don’t Lose Hope
Recently, I have been buffeted by the challenges of life. Today, I draw from the words of Robert F. Dees in his book, “Resilient Leaders.” Leaders get tired. Leaders get body slammed. Leaders also must bounce back, ideally even higher than before. Leaders must be resilient.” These words have given me hope. Hope in my ability to navigate the challenges of life and come out on the other side stronger and better equipped for the work ahead. If life has buffeted you, I pray that these words point you to hope. Hope that is not found in man. But hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone. Psalm 42:11 presents a strong message of hope. “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why are you disturbed within you? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, who is my Savior and my God.” (NIV). My prayer for you today is that no matter your circumstance, you can find hope in God.
Be blessed
